Carabao named Thailand’s top corporate brand 2020

Carabao Group has been recognised as having the highest corporate brand value within the food and beverage business sector in Thailand.

The company's brand was noted as being worth an estimated 56,462 million baht in 2020 by the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn University, and the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET).

Recognition of Carabao Group's celebrated brand came in the form of Thailand's Top Corporate Brands 2020 hallmark presented to the firm at the ASEAN and Thailand's Top Corporate Brands 2020 event held on 27 November 2020.

The corporate brand award presentation has been held annually for 11 consecutive years by the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn University, and SET.

Dr Ekka Bhattanakul of the Faculty said Carabao Group received the award for the first time because of its distinctive branding and also its brand extension to new products such as Woody C+ Lock along with a sponsorship contract with the English Football League Cup (EFL Cup).

The Carabao Cup sponsorship, which lasts from 2017 to 2020, has lifted the Carabao brand to a global level, he said.
